David John Syvitski, B.A. (Hons), J.D.*

David John Syvitski recently relocated his practice from Dauphin to Swan River, Manitoba, and loves the community. He may be new to Swan River, but not to the Parklands region.

He grew up in Winnipeg, but moved to Vancouver, B.C. when he was a teenager. After growing disenchanted with the West Coast, David decided to return to his roots and attend law school. After graduating with a law degree from Robson Hall, the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba, he articled in Dauphin, Manitoba. Following his call to the Manitoba Bar in 2021, David continued to practice family law in Dauphin while planning his next move to Swan River, an area long underserved by the legal community.

David has always had a strong interest in the social dynamics of families, personal relationships and society as a whole, for this reason family law is a natural fit for him. This complex area of the legal system allows him to do what he does best - advocate for families with passion and professionalism, by combining his real world experience with his legal expertise.
